In the states most adsl and cable services for residents are restricted to
personal use only no web servers or ftp sites etc. Here for the trial
Telecom were/are far freer in allowing those of us who wish to to run web
servers.

Is there any feeling amongst the participants that such an option is
worthwhile?

or maybe we should seek to try and get a far more restricted service but
have a flat rate tarriff?
