I wonder if the user-administration level has all these "helpful" checks to
ensure people don't screw themselves up, I suspect the only way to change the
80/23 port mappings is with the privileged level that your installer used.

But since your changes weren't saved, I hope the installer established
pin-holes still exist? Or didn't they stop you deleting them?
