Well, I've plugged my Windows NT box into the modem from time to time and it
still gets the IP it was assigned months ago. I, for one, would most certainly
prefer a static IP. If I was being assigned a different IP every time the lease
expired, I would be constantly updating name servers. Not something I wish
to do.
