I was downloading 5 x MP3's and the Descent 3 demo the other night and got peaks around 1.5 - 2Mbps. My total for this month is 620Mb so far.

I can confirm that there is currently traffic shaping in use between the Redback
Broadband NAS & the DSLAM, rated at 1.5 Mbit peak and 1.0 Mbit sustained. This
is in place to ease bandwidth requirements on the ATM network while in planning
(not my words).

cheers ppl

p.s. in case ppl are wondering, I am _not_ the networks that Mark referred to
above, but I had heard from someone I know in Networks about the traffic shaping
& rang them to confirm it.
