Anybody got an idea on how to improve the use of an analouge modem while
using adsl? the old NEC's were not a problem but im having the following
probems with the old M10,

1) Modem cannot hear the dial tone over the noise so wont dial.

2) Looses connection.

This doesnt happen if the adsl is actually not being used or at least its
noticably better. My typical connection speed is 45,000 and im using a USR
Courier V Everthing (V90) ext to IHUG and im using dial on demand in linux.

Possibly some init string MODS?
