I was just told this over IRC:

"I know a guy who works for [isp deleted] who's on Saturn cable, it was
good until a couple days ago when they saw Xtra was charging huge for
ADSL. They've cut their cable modem bandwidth down immensely,
before, he could run a q2 server and download etc all at the same time,
now there's barely enough bandwidth for 2 people to play Quake at the
same time without bad lag."

Rumour, just rumour. Anyone heard anything else?
