HI again Paul
Having had a look at what I said before it is perhaps not as useful as
it could have been

Assuming MacOS 8 on the G3 you would be likely to be running Open Transport.
In the TCP/IP control panel you will need to set it to DHCP server.

Alternatively you can in theory set the addresses manually in the M10 but
the owner (Telecom) may not like that idea.

Other wise the M10 does not know where your Mac is.

Like Dan I avoid this set of issues by having only the one PC connected to the
M10 and running my Network as a separate sub-net from the other NIC in that.

You could try using telnet from one of the win95 machines to the m10 and then
ping back to the G3. I think the IP address will be in TCP/IP control panel
info. To find out if you have connectivity from the Mac to the M10 you will
need to use your browser unless you have a third party ping.

Of course to be sure that the G3 is set up correctly you could try connecting
it directly to the M10 If you have the same trouble then it will be with the
G3 DHCP rather than the Win95 getting in the way.
