Subject: Re: Dest Unreachable Port Unreachable

You are getting DNS queries from 10.x.x.x addresses. However, these
IP
Addresses are defined (RFC 1918, I think) as being for private use only -
so there is no where to route them to. Your box is trying to reply, but is
revceiving 'Unreachable' messages back from a router.

[DL] - Strange. I have no idea why / how those could be arriving.

Also, check out www.aardvark.co.nz for some commentary about the
'JetStream' product (also known as ADSL) and word that the price
structure
now seems to be:

$450 = one off cost of modem
$69 per month ADSL rental
$20 for 600 megs courtesy of Xtra
0.35c per meg for traffic over the threshold.

Sounds cool - but they still aren't charging us less for national traffic
or even traffic within Xtra! Grrr. Of course, this could be an oversite on
Bruce's part.

[DL] - This morning on National Radio, they said the 600 Meg was
equivalent to about 220 hours of surfing. They didn't repeat that part on
a later broadcase.

I've been to telecom's website but it doesn't have the press release on it
yet.
