possibly, i used to do this but ive stopped due to the cost typically it
added 10 to 16 meg of volume per day to my usage.

No my box shows an uptime of 73+ days.
Can't remember

Possibly.
The adsl help desk tell me that the old M10's have a software bug in their
PPP that causes the M10 to reject the IP occasionally, mine has had its
present IP since the second of June apparantly (obviously it has not)
according to the RAN. They know about it and are planning to install a
patch to the RAN next Wednesday to try and fix it. their advice is a
hardware reboot on the M10.
If this doesnt work then they may look at software upgrades for the M10's or
new m10's or more patches to the RAN this maybe why we have been having so
many changes of late.
There doesnt seem to be any significant reason for why the M10 decides to
throw a wobbly at 'random' so I guess any of your reasons might be possible.
Telecom didnt offer any possibilities as triggers.
