This message just came into my mailbox from the support maillist for my
web server. Nice to know some customers somewhere are getting what I
want. I would gladly pay the same, and accept the lower speeds if I could
pick up the other features. (particlularly a telco/ISP that wanted me to use
the system - wow)

Hi all. I have a DSL line (256k downstream / 64k upstream) here in
Portland, Oregon. I pay my phone company(GTE) $35/mo, this
includes my modem and the install. I also have an ISP that
charges me $17.95/mo. this includes my bandwidth and my static
IP address. They have no problem with me running a server, infact
they encourage it! Not to sure about the proxy part, I am currently
trying to get it up and running (if there was only 25 hours in a day!!)
Hope this helps Donnie On 8 Jun 99, at 10:05, Dan Dise wrote:
