freebsddiary.cx => 210.55.152.55 your machine is 210.55.152.55
1. Your IP address changes
freebsddiary.cx => 210.55.152.55 your machine is 210.55.152.100
  Time passes
2. You notice the change and advise internic
freebsddiary.cx => 210.55.152.55 your machine is 210.55.152.100
   Time passes
3. Internic updates the primary
freebsddiary.cx => 210.55.152.100 your machine is 210.55.152.100
   The primary is now correct but cached info waits for timeout

   From 1. until 3. People using DNS to get to your site get someone
elses. You get hits from the previous owner of the IP until their DNS
update is complete ( as well as direct hits to the IP ie not thru DNS)

   After 3. If you use a Dynamic DNS you will only get hits to the IP as
   their
short ttl's expire quickly from caches.
