I think the main concerns/wants for me are as follows in order of priority,

1) Static IP, lack of this will see me go to Saturn (assuming they offer
Static IPs) as soon as i can a few others feel the same way I believe.
2) More pinholes or a different ADSL box/card that has no hardware
firewall so I can set my own firewall up, comptibility to Linux and
freeBSD a must.
3) A more realistic set limit, 300 meg is just not realistic 1 or 3 gig would
be more appropriate (at what ever additional monthly charge). Possibly a
number of plans one of which could be a 256k in / 64k out service on a
flat rate(s) in addition to the present one (this wouldnt suit me I may add)

Likes
1) High bandwidth (speed rules!) , I would not like to see us follow the
American model of castrating the bandwidth of ADSL (and Cable) and
restricting services (not allowing your own web server etc), I believe the
way ahead is along Telecom's present course I'm pleased they are doing
it.

Dislikes
1) dynamic IP. <-- hate! hate! hate!
2) Cost.

I received a call yesterday from a market research company, apparently
Telecom have commissioned them to do a consumer survey to determine
what the
ADSL market wants. I have been select as one of eight to have an
extended
session with this company next week.

I have a number of views on the subject, but would also be prepared to
include/incorporate the collective opinion of you lot.

To this end please consider carefully and concisely the main issues and
solutions you wish me to pass on to them.

I will consider putting forward only realistic options, so rather than
telling me more of the gripes that you have. Please consider possible
solutions!

We have until Monday 7 June to get it together. So please thing before
you
speak.

Cheers
