Hi Everyone,

I am making up a list of people who need line & usage credits for the problems experienced with the RAN and billing systems over May / June.

If you have experienced major problems with the service then please send me an email and I will add you to the list! (Dan - I've already got you!)

The network is a lot more stabile and faster now and the IP's are slightly less dynamic than they have been recently (they are still dynamic though!). The billing system is now back up and late last week we reset the billing for July - hence the low usage counts under our usage page!

We have upgraded most of the M10 modems software remotely via our management PVC but some did not upgrade properly so if you are experiencing difficulties still, then call your ISP and they will put you through to the Access Helpdesk who will organise a replacement.

The billing page is @
https://jetstream-usage.telecom.co.nz/ (note the 'S' after the http!)
Their will be a link to this page from the JetStream web site shortly!

We are developing a static IP option but this is unlikely to be available for at least another couple of months. This will probably be targeted towards businesses and will include more Mb's and an IP management charge. There will be several packages including a VPN option for connecting remote networks and workers and a special package for the preprint / graphics industry (lots of Gb's included!).
If you are interested in a static IP then send me an email and I'll put you on the list. We may be having a trial of static IP's before launch so people on the list may be offered them sooner

Remember, if you have a problem - call your ISP first and they will put you through to the JetStream Access Helpdesk if it found to be an access fault.
If you are getting the run around or have a question no one else can answer - send me an email (please don't bombard me though, I already get 60 - 70 a day!).
Thanks,

Mark Barlow :-)
