Hi
Attached is my seriously ugly script complete with comments
reminding me to finish it sometime that more or less does the
job of finding the IP address.
It works.
it requires no password or authentication
it returns the internal IP if the network is down
(I had a physical fault due to the nasty auckland weather;-)
IT needs a really good clean up
it was largley written last night in one hit and has not yet
been reread and checked for correctness
The quoting and back quoting is probably a reflection
of my inexactitude of understanding
