Telecom's CEO gets another pay rise

The country's highest paid executive, Telecom boss Rod Deane, has
just had a bumper year.

His salary package has jumped 11%, or nearly $200,000, to $1.8 million.

Deane is retiring this year after helping Telecom post a record profit of
over $800 million.

His pay increase alone is nearly six times the average wage.
