while the range of ip addresses assigned to the adsl system is known, there is
no way to query the redback for the ip address that is assigned by login id, so
the tools needed to develop something like that aren't there yet

other people seem to have worked around it by snmp querying the m10 for the
current ip address & using that to update a dyndns service
