If you are using a Mac you will need to access this through the
browser unless you have a third party telnet program.
What you get depends on which version of the M10 you have. IIRC the earlier
versions did not have the PAP username and password on the front page
nor the pinhole access but I can't remember where it was. Anyone else?
As to whether it is working or not you will need to get someone outside
to check. You can either
1. Use a dial up connection from another machine to try to reach
what you have open.
2 If you are running a web erver you can go to
http://www.netcraft.com/whats
which will try to ID the server you are using
3 You can ask someone else to try to connect
