port ranges are 2 ^16 -1
at least the M10 accept 65535 but not 65536 (I suppose I could try
starting at 0)
currently 80 is open and responding
as is telnet and ftp in active mode (Iguess I gotta figure out how to
set up passive at theserver end)
  From the telnet Interface I
get
Telecom Fast Access> config

Config Mode v1.0
(user-admin level privileges -- read/write)

Telecom Fast Access (top)>> view pinhole

  pinhole
    item 1
      external-port-start 1
      external-port-end 65535
      protocol TCP
      internal-ip 192.168.1.1
      internal-port 1
    item 2
      external-port-start 1
      external-port-end 65535
      protocol UDP
      internal-ip 192.168.1.1
      internal-port 1

Telecom Fast Access (top)>>
But what I actually did was to delete all the pinholes on the browser
interface and add teh settings as described above.

I also though that it had been reported as not working before but I
suspect
that either that has changed or it was something else that gave the
problem

thanks again Hamish
