I must be very lucky. I have had ZERO problems (nock on wood) with my DSL
line.

I just downloaded a 2MB file from Xtra at 1.35MB/s and still going up when
the download finished.

Just after that I downloaded some Linux Beowulf stuff from the US at 60KB/s

Normally I get 30-50KB/s

To me this is very acceptable and while still too expensive, it is worth the
while
