Some success at last.

I have viewed my registry entries as suggested and found that the settings were very low, and nothing like those recommended. The RcvWIN size was set to 2144...and I have changed it to the recommended setting of 64240. Restarted my PC and got an immediate speed boost....wahooooo......went to the Xtra FTP site and got a 1.6meg file in around 10 seconds, which for me is just awesome.

Cant find out where to check my MTU settings in the registry though. Am running a Win95 machine. Can someone help as to where in the registry on a WIN95 machine I will find the MTU. I did find the winsock settings....the default is NIL..and the MSTTCP is
just showing ""......any suggestions.
