Hi All,
Well when I got mine installed, they guy didn't set it up properly. I left
him instructions on ips address' etc. IE set it up at 192.168.10.253,
instead he set it up as the 192.168.0.1, default. Half way through the
install he rang me at work to ask what the broadcast address was for my
network.... DUH... So I got home and tried to use it, alas it did not work
and thus spent 20 mins trying to find the damn thing. Finally I found it
and configured it myself. He even left the DCHP server on which I left
strict instructions not to.

Not impressed at all. I think telecom might need to train its installers
better, ie with exising networks, not just setting up a new one.

Cheers
Rob Purdy

I just moved house and had to pay $200. All the guy had to do was connect
the cables at the exchange, I had the Nokia already all set up. Man I wish I
can make $200 per 15 minutes.

While I am ranting.......this is no way to keep loyal customers. I used to
tell everyone that Jetstream is great, now I advise them to consider all the
alternatives.......
