the efficient internal 3020 has no nat firewall ... no pinholes ... no
nothing
the 4020 is the little usb port modem ... bout the size of pack of 25
ciggies
(a lot less hassle to install compared to the 3020) but don't think father
telecom is supplying them
both use dial up networking to connect so win 95 98 nt4 and I had no
hassles in a 2000 box
there is talk of somebody doing the code for the lanai chipset under linux

but the big question is .... when can we get our own modems and not be tied
to the two brands that are there now ??
