Yes thats right, the blue is a crossover cable, designed only for a two
node network ie:
M10<---------->PC or even:
PC<---------->PC
you don't need a hub on a two node netowrk (I have two comps at home set up
like this)
However connecting to a hub you need a straight through cable for every
connection.
ie The blue cable is only for a one PC connecting to the M10.
or the following:
crossover all others straight through
(blue)
M10<--------->PC firewall<----------> HUB<----------->PC
(linux/freebsd |<------------>PC
with two ethernet etc
cards)

Subject: RE: ADSL install
At the risk of stating the obvious to some - but in the interest of helping
others , when I set up the Nokia to run a common Internet gateway on our
small peer to peer LAN ( five machines ) - it didnt; work !
The solution however couldnt have been simpler - throw away the blue cable
that came with the Nokia , and replace the (cable) connection from the M10
to the Hub ( as shown in the wee graph) with an ordinary network cable ..
The result - bingo !
best
