I have a simple script that may interest some . . .
Its vbscript using windows scripting host 5.1 that starts an IE session, it
is using sendkeys to log into the M10. Then navigates IE to the page with
ATM stats on it ,the overview page and the Interfaces page
I run the script @ 11:55 from my server (logged on) and it saves all as one
page with today's date.
The only problem is that sendkey does not work with a screen saver.
I haven't got around to extracting the uptime and usage lines from the page,
but this does for me for the moment and I have some historical data which I
can compare with telecoms pages.
I tried doing some work going directly to the
https://jetstream-usage.telecom.co.nz/cgi-bin/iaf/iafReports
I managed to extract the html post form they use but have not been able to
work out the base href they are posting the form results to.
I noted that when I enter my telecom account number it is changing from
something like 101123456 to some other number like 1017396 and I'm not sure
what this means
I suspect that they may be using some session variables or cookies to hold
the additional information to access the page because I get some bazaar
error referencing a line in a C program.
if any one out there is interested in the IE script then mail me (direct
rather than the list) and I'll send a copy
after only having jetstream for 2 or 3 weeks I don't think that 600MB is
going to be hard to reach, and a little expensive to got over the limit.
One night 2pc's managed 140MB of Unreal Tournament, thank fully it was in
the games context !!!

has any bright spark worked out a script for automatically retrieving usage
stats for adsl for telecom? seems like an ideal thing for a perl script or
something similar, but its all beyond me!
