up untill last week we were susessfully running a vpn client(IntraPort3.6)
through the nokia M10 to our australian server we obtained an upgrade
(3.8.4) for the client software which refused to run with NAT_Transparency
on (essential with the M10), we un installed the new soft and re-installed
the old one whiched worked with NAT_Transparency for the rest of the day,
the following day the client refused to connect unless NAT_Transparency was
de-activated with either software (old or new).
The vpn runs on dial-up (slooooowly), but only with NAT_Transparency
de-activated....hmmmm
the software we are running through the tunnel is WTK 4gl 1.484
(its a unix type of system-sorry im still a little green here...)
the M10 is connected to a LanPro 10 Base-T Ethernet hub which i have
by-passed with the correct cable but with little joy..
no other s/ware has been installed on the machine (W98se) other that the new
client
also i have noticed an increase in speed from the modem on downloads/uploads
(the plot thickens)
any help would be appreciated as it has me puzzled
