I've heard (but haven't confirmed yet) that paradise was brought out by
Saturn yesterday ? anyone else hear this ? I believe there may have been
mention of it in yesterdays Dominion, or maybe it was Monday's InfoTech.

And they can tell ... how?

I dont see how they can, eg since I run port sentry if they scanned me
they would get no or little reply. If using IPchains and kernel forwarding
only one PC is connected to the modem anyway.............
Since I effectively only use this PC for external use anyway Im complying
with their TOS in spirit if not in exact wording even though I have 6 PCs
connected. All I have done is distributed my services to several PCs eg DNS,
email.
I find the one PC only condition more than a little weird, as others have
said a MP3 "kiddie" could be downloading many gigabytes a month I use around
700 to 1200 Meg a month.
Anyway the bright side is competition for Xtra and I assume Saturn's
Service via Paradise (will Saturn/Paradise now stop the present service? and
maybe force people onto this? bit of a worry I love my static IP).
