BGP or OSPF? huh? I've heard of gated, but never used it..

you could get your ISP to send you the national route table via BGP or
OSPF and run gated on the redhat box to collect these and decide where to
send the traffic rather than useing something like static routes :)

as for the proxying, MS Proxy will NOT proxy any non-M$ product/OS so
you'll need something else like wingate or winroute running on the NT box.
