Yup, I wondered if you'd been playing with Gnutella when I saw your post. If
you read a bit about how g works you'll see that your machine effectively
becomes part of a global search space and gets "hit" by hundreds of other
machines all day everyday... hence high traffic. Probably to be avoided, or
just run from time to time when *you* want to search.

I received the call this month.......but I exceeded my 1.5 GB by the 5th day
of my billing cycle.

This may be a good time to mention that I ran Gnutella, yea yea I know, I
started downloading a 175MB file (for evaluation purposes of course). By the
next morning my usage had gone up 900MB. I was not sharing anyting via
Gnutella, or any other shares, so I am not too sure where the 900MB came
from......but it will teach me not to use Gnutella and the like ;-)
