is anyone else experiencing large ammounts of packet loss over local DSL
lines ? i just got the following.. (after repeatedly being disconnected
from work machines.. path is basicly..

home --- DSL --- telecom ATM cloud --- CAR --- Our Router --- Shell Box

--- newshell.iconz.co.nz ping statistics ---
260 packets transmitted, 203 packets received, 21% packet loss
round-trip min/avg/max = 39.1/58.7/323.9 ms
