2 Routers with NAT?

Hi,

I wonder whether I can get help with my router set up here?
I am new to ADSL, it has been installed recently and I enjoy it.

We are running a PC network with a few WinNT machines and a Linux machine as
a central server for file and printer sharing.
As a kind of firewall, I want to build a DMZ with the outer router (to the
net) being the Nokia M11 and an inner router (to the internal net, the LAN).
I have kept the M11 standard setup for address and subnet so that it's
'inside' IP address is 192.168.1.254, netmask 255.255.255.0. As the router
to the internal network, I have setup an older PC with 2 NICs, 192.168.1.250
to his outside (same class C subnet as the M11 of course) and 192.168.0.249
(also class C subnet) to the internal LAN, running a small Linux OS (it's
called Freesco) which fits on a floppy disk.

Apparently that's all working fine as long as I enable NAT also on my
*internal router* and that's what I don't understand!
NAT on that router changes all outgoing packet's addresses from my LAN
clients from 192.168.0.x to 192.168.1.250.port as far as I understand. With
NAT on the M11 it will be there translated into a public IP address. I
thought I only need NAT on the M11 which then should be able to change
192.168.0.x into a public IP x.x.x.x.port?

Any help with that?

Kind Regards,
Michael Doerner
P.S.: Sorry, my English is still not the best.
