When a M10 is reset it should say something like

00:00:00:00 L4 BR: Boot PROM does not support multi-virtual flash
00:00:00:00 L4 BR: starting kernel

If the power is dropped it would say the same. From the little bit of the log that you enclosed it looks like the PPP was dropped rather than a Modem reset.

When is says phy is isn't talking about the physical line.
