We run the same setup, he needs to open port 3389 TCP on the server end,
there are no pinholes required at the client end.

Is he connecting on the 56k by dialing directly into the server? If so then
perhaps the server is only accepting connections from within it's own subnet
(a RAS modem user is given a DHCP ip address) and not accepting connections
from any other IP's?

Subject: Terminal Server

Client has set-up Windows Terminal server using ADSL, he can access the
server with a 56 modem but not with another adsl connection. Both use m11
(white one), both are alive I'm thinking that it is a port issue and that
they need to open more ports on the client adsl box. Any ideas where it lies
at?
