I think the idea is sound, my understanding of your proposal begs the question
though: "What's the motivation for Telecom to give you a volume
charged/HighSpeed context, then another where it is cheaper, but still HS?"
I know which context I'd stay in.
The idea, in reverse, ie, "512Kbps unlimited" (which would mean, I hope, it
isn't "throttled down to 56K modem speeds") but which may become "overloaded,"
AND a context where you can pay by volume which is HS, would be very
appealing.
My preference for always on, and "unlimited" traffic, outweighs the speed
consideration, mostly, where speed was important, I could log in to the Volume
charged/HS context and pay for the additional speed.
"unlimited" traffic can dribble in at any speed, I'm not going to be sitting
there waiting for it...
