why do you need two ip's?

pinhole port 80 to the webserver machine and port 25 (and maybe 110 and/or
143) to the mailserver.

Subject: adsl & routing multiple IP's.

I'd like to have more than 1 IP address routed through my
Nokia ADSL modem so that I can run say a web server
(210.55.57.42) and a mail server (210.55.57.42) on
different machines on the same phone line.

Telecom say I can't do this, I can route these if they
reach me, is it that telecom can't/won't route or the adsl
modem can't route.

Thanks, steve
