I am having problems here in ChCh at 8.30 - 9 am. Its a grim day when you
have to resort to using the hard copy of the phone book, or even worse
ringing o18 for an out of town number!

Which exchange were you connected to at the time? Most of the time, when
they do upgrades, it is at around 5 am, but I suppose there is always the
chance that it would take longer than expected ....

I hear there were some disconnections overnight. Most of the problem
occurred about 3am. I don't know if this was the result of overnight
DSL
upgrades or not.

There were also some routing problems. These were fixed about
6:25am.
