Im currently looking to set up a VPN between 3 offices around the country,
with each location using Jetstream. Telecom can offer a solution from their
e-business dept. Can anyone offer any advise?

Kind regards

Subject: Interesting comparison..

FYI,

I've just received some email from a DSL user in Sweden where they also use
the Nokia modems.

He pays about 19.77 USD flat rate for a 512k connection.

One interesting difference is that he has a bridged connection using
ether_IIc - ATM encapsulation rather than PPP, with several public ip
addresses allocated for his use.

I guess if you go flat rate, you remove the need to worry about
authentication and metering so much, hence don't need to bother with all the
PPP/Radius stuff.

Maybe this is an option Telecom could consider for business users who are
not so concerned with overall bandwidth and more interested in VPN options?

(It would also save Dan some disk space with all these posts on IPSec!)
