Id imagine it is because of the call volume they would have experiencing
today with the Wellington ran yo-yoing. Other exchange upgrades & other
problems like the one your mentioned. All this leads to high call volumes
which we ( the people @ the end of the phone ) have no control over.

Just been told paradise did a major upgrade last night and the problems I am
presently experiencing are because of that, ie its a paradise problem, not
telecom.
at least they answer the phone and are frank with me. more than we can say
for telecom, who still haven't told the list why it takes tham an hour to
answer the phone....
