How would PPPoE work, from a physical perspective. AFAIK ethernet
requires four wires, and most of the lines which come in to households
in New Zealand are two-wire, or does the ethernet mean the back-end
transport medium that goes between the RAN and the ISP's CPE?

If so, has anybody got this: http://user.cs.tu-berlin.de/~normanb/
to work? Please note I'm just going through a big learning process
right now, getting opinions on these things from people who know what
they're talking about provides valuable information.
