Im having trouble FTPing to one of the servers from my ADSL
connection, (ref network layout).
Local System will connect to Remote Server 2 and will establish
an FTP connection allowing files to be both be sent and received.
Remote Server 2 will connect to Remote Server 1and will establish
an FTP connection allowing files to be both be sent and received.
But Local System will not connect to Remote Server 1, even if the
client is set to use passive mode, (if i dont use passive mode then
the connection fails to build).
I can FTP download from Remote Server 1, but whenever i try to
upload i get the following error.
503 No PORT command issued first.
Network Layout is as follows:
Local System:
Nokia M1122 ADSL
Win98
wsftp client
Remote Server 1:
Nokia M1122 ADSL
RH 5.?
proftpd (ftp deamon)
NAT allows port 17 to 10000 UDP
NAT allows port 17 to 10000 TCP
Romote Server 2:
E3 (us based server)
FreeBSD
proftpd (ftp deamon)
Any ideas?
