I have a Satnet connection and in our server we are running WinRoute. the problem is that Winroute is doing somthing funny. About every 10 - 15mins the server stops responding (if you are doing a PING is sais "Timed out". If we have VNC running the cursor stops moving and all downloads stop). Then about 10 - 30 secs later it commes back and all is right as rain. exept for the fact that if you have any downloads that have to have a min CPS that will drop below it and die. And that is what is pissing me off.
It is a default install of winroute and all we have done is added in a few extra ports for FTP's to go out through.
Hopefully someone will be able to help.
Thanks
Sam
PS have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year
