Im having the same problem, in the end i gave up :(
we have a linux box on a DSL connection.
i have a 98 machine on another dsl at home, i cant
ftp from home to the linux machine.
However i can ftp to out US server on a D3
and i can ftp from the US linux box to the NZ
linux box, and visa versa...
tried PASSV and still no luck, pinholed everything up to
10000 on both UDP and TCP just to check if it was that.
But no way to connect from my home 98 system to the
work linux machine :(.
I had thought about using a port redirector from the US
server but thats really going to slow things down.
