what happens if the local and remote DSL connections have the same IP
address range. IE 192.168.1.0

I have seen it noted (

) with VPNs this is a problem as the NAT decides that the remote address is
on the same subnet and does not do its NAT task.

could this be happening with the ftp as well

PS: I think I was credited with someone else's excellent work with the ftp
scenarios.
