I found that I had to use pins 5&6 on the M11's RJ45, 2&3 didn't work as
advertised.

Another tip: You need to power off the modem and restart it with the serial
cable plugged in, this gets you into the modem's BIOS, bypassing the admin
password. In it there's an option to reset the configuration parameters to
Telecom's defaults. You probibly don't want to reset all of the flash ram,
as this would also erase any software updates that have been applied.
