If anyone is thinking of buying the MW1122 beware it does not always come
WLAN capable out of the box.

I ordered one from Dick Smith for $1344 as compared to the M1122 @ $1117. It
was described on their web site as "Nokia MW1122 ADSL Router complete with
11Mbps Wireless LAN card" with product shot of both router and PCMCIA card
but when it arrived they discovered that the product version they had
ordered from Nokia comes sans PCMCIA card and told me that I would have to
buy a Nokia C110 for $587 before I'd have a wireless lan interafce.

Apologetic store manager but central office refused to provide any redress
via Store manager and are surprisingly difficult to get through to for
further discussion.

A couple of days later they changed their site product description to "Nokia
MW1122 ADSL Router accepts optional 11Mbps Wireless LAN card." The MW
obviously an acronym for Maybe Wireless as far as Dick Smith is concerned.

A shame, I've seen WLAN in action - in my companies Finish office - and it
makes a huge difference to way people worked, especially in meetings.

Having recently joined the list (and unable to find a way to search the
archs) not sure if it's been mentioned but the London orginated
www.consume.net is an interesting grass roots wireless effort.
