%-> As a Jetstream customer, I continue to experience many microoutages per
%-> day, that Telecom while working hard on them has been unable to resolve.

I experienced those "micro-outages" too, in December (when I was hugely
busy, typical). It was really annoying to have SSH sessions die on you all
the time, because the connection went down for about ten to fifteen seconds.

It seems to have been related to the DSL signal being lost (?), because the
Carrier Detect LED went off on my Cisco 827. I mentioned the outages to
Wayne Kampjes at Telecom, and tried running the router with ATM debugging
enabled, but wasn't able to capture the fault.

There doesn't seem to be any diagnostics / logging at the Telecom end that's
capable of detecting short outages either...?
