Hahah..

I guess so. I think when referring to TCO, maybe third party software /
hardware and support is more readably available and cheaper than MAC
support? Maybe in introduction of the new Mac OS will help bring together
Linux and Mac software and support.

Do you think the threat of Apple "going under" is turning people to the PC
world? My flatmate used to be a hard core MAC user, but was put of by one
thing. Service and more so, information.

He was prepared to buy a new machine. Spent heaps of money on a gleaming new
G3 and a few months later, the G4 came along. No one told him this, not even
web sites.

In the PC world, there is always a clear road map. Some may say, changing
too fast, but at least one knows where its going!

Cringing? ROTFL more like! They took a working Mac-based solution with a
minor obstacle (very easily resolved BTW), and replaced it with Windows
boxes on the basis of TCO??? Guffaw!

Cheers,
Robert
