There seems to be lots of talk about the different ADSL modems and routers,
and also (somewhat disturbing) talk about what is simply the cheapest etc.

With all the technical experience out there, I am curious to know what is
the current general consensus on the best configuration for connecting a
home/small office network to JetStream, with less emphasis on cost!

For example, what is the current opinion of the Nokia M1122 ?
Is this still the best solution, being the benchmark standard Telecom
recommends? Or are there some serious? flaws with this device that suggest
an alternative solution would be better?

Note that I am trying to ascertain the current thinking as to the
technically best solution for connecting multiple PC's to a shared ADSL
connection, NOT what is the cheapest method! It would also be preferable
that a good solution is easy to configure, as opposed to some mixture of
dedicated Linux PC + modem/router etc.

It would be great if there is in fact a home page that someone can point me
to, that documents the pro's and con's of the different currently available
ADSL solution?
