I think this would be a wonderful opportunity for Telecom to show that
yes, their systems are not perfect, but they are willing to fix,
streamline, document them since this is a new product.
The guy made a genuine mistake, Telecom had confusing documentation and
logic on this, especially since you can avoid traffic charges in the
gaming realm, you would think if you key in your jetstart password and
your capped at 128kb, your price would be as well.
This is the equivelent of having a business phone line, instead of a
home line and dialing a 0800 number and still being charged the toll
call because you made the call on the wrong phone line silly!

Tyler

Subject: Re: HUGE WARNING ON JETSTREAM BILLING!
I sympathise with the guy who first posted this. It is unfair, and what
if
you logged on to a jetstart users line and modem with a jetstream
password..
I bet they don't let the traffic go free...
This is just another situtation of the forever unending thing called the
Local Loop.
There are alot of very annoyed people out there right now, and to be
honest
Telstra are going to make a killing in this country. Not because they
offer
a better service, faster service blah blah blah... but because people
will
change for the hell of it. ie Linux.
oh well.. sigh
