I have been watching the discussion for a while now and have the
following offer
- I would like to work with people who are having problems. In the 1st
instance I would like to hear from people (direct not the list) who are
having the problem several time a day. I would like the following info
- user name logged in (not password of course)
- ADSL phone number
- contact name and phone number
- frequency of problems
- symptoms of problem - ie lose DSL - light comes on, lose connection
for 2 min etc
- a snip of the modem log that covers an outage period.
- indication of previous actions - ie logged to faults and forgotten
about.
After dealing with the many times a day I will be asking for the harder
several times a week category. I don't need stories of the aggrieved -
just the fault details.
Don't expect instant results - I am not a magician! If you reply to me
I will get back to you with what I think is happening and what I want to
do.
I look forward to hearing from you and can we stop the discussion now -
no real info has been added for a day or 2.
