Yes, and chances are after a month of 128K you'll decide that another 128K is not needed at the extra cost it will give you.

128K ADSL really is much better than the theoretical 128K dial up modem.

For starters, nobody ever gets a 56K connection, think my best was about 49K. Then the 128K is measured at the ip layer apparently, so you are not losing anything to ppp overhead, and modem parity bits don't apply either. The end result is that you get a connection that is 3 times faster to the user. On top of that the latency is much better than on modem, and when the bandwidth is maxed the latency does not get any worse. (Is this true of JetStream too?)

Still, 256K would be nice....
